Datia district president threatened to resign

Internal discord of the party has started coming out in Madhya Pradesh for the post of president. On Friday, District Congress president of Datia Ashok Dangi demanded that Scindia be made the state Congress president. He has said that if this does not happen, he will resign from the party along with 500 of his supporters. Earlier, District President of Morena Rakesh Mavai has also threatened to leave the Congress if Scindia is not made the state president.
